Podhom is a quiet village in the municipality of Gorje, 2 km from Bled. The entrance to Vintgar is 200 m from the house, and Bled, Pokljuka and Bohinj are a short drive away.

Getting here
Podhom 50b: how to find us
From the motorway (from Jesenice or the Karawanks tunnel)
- Take the Lipce, Blejska Dobrava, Jesenice-vzhod exit.
- Turn right towards Gorje and Pokljuka, through the village of Kočna. After about 5 minutes you reach Podhom.
- At the crossroads turn left towards Podhom, then keep to the right-hand road. The left one leads down to Vintgar.
- After a few hundred metres the house is on your left.
From Ljubljana and Bled
- At the only crossroads with traffic lights in Bled, turn left towards Gorje and Pokljuka.
- Follow the signs for Vintgar and Podhom. Where the road to Gorje and Pokljuka turns left, turn right towards Podhom.
- Past the small Mercator shop on your left, then turn right and keep to the right-hand road.
- After a few hundred metres the house is on your left.
Without a car
- Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 33 km away, then on by bus or train.
- You can reach Bled by train or bus. Tell us your arrival time before you travel, and we'll arrange how you get to us.
- We can arrange airport transfers and local trips for an extra charge.
